Josh E. McHughes

Josh E. McHughes was admitted to the practice of law in 1967. He matriculated from the Bowen School of Law’s first graduating class after having been denied his senior year of high school at Central High School in 1958, due to Little Rock’s being the site of the first important test of the U. S. Supreme Court’s historic Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka 347 U.S. 483 (1954) decision. He is the founding member of The McHughes Law Firm, PLLC.

He currently practices in the area of subrogation law. Throughout the years he has been counsel to numerous defendants and plaintiffs in family law, wills and probate, retail collections, general contract matters, and criminal matters.

Mr. McHughes is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association, the Pulaski County Bar, the Association of Credit and Collection Professionals, the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys, the National List and the General Bar. He was a delegate at the Constitutional Convention and is a former president of Jaycees.
